Nick,
It's amazing how long range transoceanic signals favor one local location over
another. The second tier Japanese avoid this location like the plague, but the
Koreans and Chinese pound right in. Unlike Victoria, New Zealand has never
shown up here on MW-- maybe that's why the Rockwork clif

I had parked the SDR on 1386 hoping for a repeat of last night, but no
luck, I'm afraid. The fishbarrel looks pretty dead...Walt

Victoria may have the TA's and DU's, but this inland valley didn't come away empty during the enhanced propagation overnight. Starting at 1030 UTC the Asian mainland TP's went on a rampage, with 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2 all hitting S9+ levels at some point during the extended sessi

Hi Nick,
Nice catches! Just out of curiosity, did you hear those on your north antenna?
I’m debating on setting up a short (~35 ft. X 14ft.) flag or corner-fed loop.

The best TA opening of the season saw a prior appointment on my

Fortunately, the SDR and the DX Fishbarrel did some heavy lifting
while I was out, plus, things hadn't quite died when I returned around 0450UT.
