Strict daytimer, 2 tower pattern beaming towards Denver and Colorado
Springs, They once had a CP for 3 watts night power i think.

The Catholic Radio Network staff has told me KCRN 1120 is running currently
running 12,500 watts and hope to go to full power of 50kw on Monday.

Interesting. I drove past Limon on I - 70 around mid day this past December 22
and kept my car radio on 1120. No signal from KLIM was heard. I’m presently on

It would appear the station has built out their construction permit. They
had been 250 Watts Non Directional from a tower just NW of Limon but hadnt
reliably been on the air from in the later part of the last decade up until
a few years ago. A commercial operator sold them to The Catholic Radio

In the wee hours of both May 2, 1988 and October 15, 1989, while DXing from
Iowa City, I caught WBBM completely off the air and, both times, heard what
sounded like opera music, albeit faintly. But neither time did it ever rise up
strong enough for me to get an ID. To this day, I've always won
Radio Coro with ID @ 0250 and Radio Viva @ 0255. Thanks for the tip. Two new
ones here.
