WWGB Indian Head MD on at full power killing WBZ locally just outside of NYC.
Sunday morning February 24 from 0500 to 0600 probably beyond. This was while I
was driving to work. Really killing WBZ on the frequency. Obviously very close
to my location. Huge signal.

My best advice: Get away from civilization. Going down to the beach is a great
first step. Highly recommended is Hana on the far east tip of Maui. I managed
to log KSL 1160 and 1380 ‘The Answer’ Sacramento along with many 50 kilowatters
from the west coast of the USA there

I noticed the classic Sony SRF-M37W is now discontinued.
What miniature radio is now considered the best available?
Has the world completely reverted to listening to 'radio' on their smartphones?
I would be very interested to hear your preferences and opinions.

Hi Pat:
A couple of things to keep in mind here.
AM radio antennas are usually either etched into windshields or poorly coupled
into rooftop modules that also designed for satellite reception.

There is a huge Spanish music signal killing the otherwise very dominant WBZ
Boston here tonight. It is the Washington DC station probably on day power and
pattern. Wicked strong signal... just FYI. Quick English ID at TOH.
