I don't normally buy stuff from Ebay. But when I do, it's a XHDATA D-808 that
isn't legally sold in North America. Cost $AUD 118 including shipping from
Australia via Singapore. It arrived by Canada Post on Friday, less than 2
weeks after I ordered it. It's a little bigger than the C Crane
I didn't even find out about the WION-1430 test until too late. No chance I
would have heard them anyway with a local pest on the frequency (CHKT).

putting in a fair signal at my midtown Toronto home. Same as the last user

WBOB-600 DX test with Sweep tone (sounding like a landline phone off the
hook) and code IDs noted at 0015 ET. Poor, fighting off CJCL-590 slop, UNID
Fox news talker (possibly WMT) and C station, possibly CKAT North Bay, ON
