I caught even more sweep tones just now...I guess that we'd call these DX tests
from KEVT an extreme success. Very interesting to have it occur mid-summer. ms

The second KEVT test is being heard well here in Southern CA as well. Lots of
SS music. Caught a code ID and some sweep tones around 11 pm PDT. Sounds great!

Great to hear that they were logged in Calgary AND in Illinois. I hope all the
ultralight DXers are logging KEVT wherever they may be. ms

The KEVT test is booming into Southern California right now even with huge qrn
and KPRZ. 'Heard sweep tones and code and other goodies. 'Sad that this is the
swan song for the station. Mike Sanburn KG6LJU

Steve, thanks for clarifying. One movie that sums it all up for me, and I would
recommend anybody rent/download/watch, is the 1965 drama "The spy who came in
out of the cold" starring the late great Richard Burton. 'Black and white
oldie, but makes its point brilliantly. ms

Perhaps the station will return when things turn around. It is nice to have one

Thanks for the confirmation of calls, I thought they were still KEVT but

I tried to get a copy of KYNO 940 this afternoon driving home but the IBOC and
qrn and qrm were just too powerful. (Geez, 50kw station just part way up the
state, this is what it's come to.) KRDU 1130 was in nicely just before sunset
though!! Any more test activity from that station in OR that

I'm sure that I saw the price of $69.95 mentioned in one of the previous
postings (perhaps as part of a link) ALSO, in my brand spanking new CCrane
catalog which I just untaped a minute ago, the price listed for the CCRadio-EP
is $69.95 ('says Expected in August) The perfect present for Mike

This looks interesting indeed! I was trying to tell from the photo if it is
digital or analog, I rather suspect the latter. I own both the superadio 2 and

continue it as their own?? Inquiring minds want to know. I se
