A different recording foul up this morning, so only live listening
from 1535UT, which was reasonable but not astonishing.

Considerably livelier today, mostly from Asia. Low band was fairly
active 1300-1330UT, then a bit of a rest until after 1500UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,

know the practical minimum for a portable loop? I seem to remember
Nick Hall-Patch using an ALA 100 (I think) from a hotel room in
Seaside at the IRCA Convention many years ago, which is what
inspired the idea. Any insights would be welcome. I am hoping

seemed to start closer to 1430UT, and though not spectacular, had
considerable audio at times from both DU and Asia. As Nigel
observed, at least the American
Odd bunch of carriers tonight, as of 0320UT, 1215 of course, but 1008
also, about 3Hz low, 711 a couple of Hz low, 1089...

Mostly not too inspiring before sunrise this morning, though there
was DX, including a couple of Chinese. Earlier, it was mostly the
big guns popping up, sometimes quite loudly.
