A bit of a blip upwards this morning, with some high band activity and HLAZ hanging in until nearly 1700UT. NHK2 again off at 1440UT, with 774, 828 and 747 all showing audio pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 1566 HLAZ man in Russian 1

A dog of a morning, very little heard in the last hour before sunrise, and didn't look wildly exciting before then either. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): nope Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable

Not as spectacular as the geomagnetic conditions might suggest, but there was audio, and the old standby HLAZ roused itself after sunrise. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 1566 HLAZ building in strength from 1556UT onwards, then fad

An interesting though not spectacular morning, with quite a nice enhancement from 1525 to 1540UT. I suspect there would have been interesting NHK2 loggings if they hadn't signed off at 1510-15UT today. Quite a lot of good carriers, with some high quality domestic splatter to drown them out.

Things were further downhill this morning. What little appeared around sunrise (actually closer to 1530UT) was at the top of the band, and neither 1566 or 1575 were heard! pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): none reasonable audio at
