In my sesh, 1415 until around 1505 UTC, I enjoyed around 20 seconds of arm
chair audio on 1575 kHz VOA - around 50 minutes prior to LSR.

774, 828, 846, and a few others...
I had none of it - periodically I would encounte
DXing was even harder work this morning.

I get rescued a bit by Aussies here. The other thing to note is that
Asiatic frequencies 774, 972 etc. were delivering strong carriers at
1230UT, but I wasn't recording then. By 1300UT, things were mostly
pretty grim, and no
Walt's observation of 1566 powering in around 1500UT the morning was
right on the money, but there was a little bit of other DX between
1300 and 1400UT as well, so things are slowly recovering
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
