Subject: [IRCA] 800 kHz in the Pacific Northwest
I was hoping to hear the new super power (450 kW), TWR from Bonaire, but so
far have heard on 800 kHz only 2 stations: Usually I'm hearing CKOR 'EZ
Rock" out of Penticton, BC with listed 10 kW Day, and 500 watts night (when

Last night at about 0215z I tried to get Bonaire, as per other emails. It
was impossible to because of CKLW from Windsor, ON booming down here. This
morning I was getting WCHA from Chambersburg, PA on 800.

KPDQ is still Rel, Salem BCing and EE as far as I know. Never heard any
other lang on there. They are good days and in the jumble at night here
on the coast, 70 air miles away.

XEROK is what has been heard here, Bill, but I'm not up to
Slight correction - XESPN-800 is ESPN in English (though you might
catch an XE anthem or an ID in Spanish); the ESPN Deportes affiliate
in Tijuana is XESS-620. I've lost track of what the Bakersfield
station is doing these days...

OopsI reread your e-mail. Ogden is spanish language as well. Pretty low
power at that time of night, but who can tell?
