The newly rejuvenated 846-Kiribati pretty much smothered the frequency in Kona,
Hawaii last month each evening until its sign off around 1006 UTC, but I did
manage to find one recording with a fairly strong co-channel at 1002 on 12-19.
This apparently has some accented English by a male speaker

The new 846-Kiribati transmitter on Christmas Island has awesome signals, and
was overall the strongest Pacific island station received during the recent
Kona, Hawaii DXpedition. Of all the Pacific island DU's it faded in at the
earliest time after sunset, and maintained its strength even during
David Ricquish wrote in WRTH Facebook group:
"Christmas Island 846 advises power is 10kw."

Todd,
Most likely the SDR is located on the eastern side of one of the islands. The
western sides (like Kona) have reduced mainland reception because of the
Hawaiian hill terrain, but somewhat enhanced reception to the west and south.

Some English Christian music was at fair strength at 0450, sounding like many
I started seeing 846 from Christmas Island at 03:00ish today, and the audio
is fair to good at 03:38 as I type this. I enjoy watching this station

A difference from last night. Yesterday, a strong carrier became visible
from 03:30 UTC, and reasonably good audio after 04:00. Tonight, I saw no
carrier at 03:30. Audio is much weaker as well, with low modulation audio
