The tsunami of Asian signals hitting the coast had calmed to a ripple on this side of the mountains, but this still qualified as the best Asian morning of the young season.

693 JOAB Tokyo, JAPAN Just traces of audio, but the NHK time
                                pips at 1200 were clear.

774 JOUB Akita, JAPAN NHK pips a 1200. Much better by 1220
with talk by man, but vanished under
                                Australia a bit later,
774 3LO Melbourne, AUST Talk by Aussie-accented man during
                                sports commentary at 1227.
828 JOBB Osaka, JAPAN Rather unusually, the strongest of the
NHKs with time pips at 1200.
837 unID unID very weak, with a woman speaking
                                (possibly a phone caller) 4RK?
855 unID Seemed to be ABC news by woman at
                                1203, but not 100% certain.
891 unID Sounded Australian, but no pips at
1230, with man speaking just after, so
                                possibly the TAB station.
972 HLCA Dangjin, KOREA Came up to good level with talk by
                                man in Korean around 1225
1116 4BC Brisbane, AUST sports commentary, Melbourne vs North
                                Queensland at 1214
1566 HLAZ Cheju, KOREA Nice signal this morning, with Japanese
talk and FEBC ID at 1230.
