A pretty lively morning here, at least at the upper end of the dial. Both 1575 VOA and 1566 HLAZ were at good levels by 1430. 1557 (presumably Taiwan) had a few minutes of weak audio from 1451, with vocal by a woman. CNR1 on 1593 was just barely in audio at 1435, Had a slight peak at about 1448, then returned to the barest of audio. Definitely two mumblers by 1500, and two sets of time pips, so perhaps Japan was mixing. Lots of carriers in the top half of the band, including some intriguing off-freq carriers on 1566 and 1575. 1584 had a strong carrier, but only audio was a couple of time pips at 1500. Only evidence of DU was on the X-band, where several carriers were close to audio, the closest being on 1701.02
