Hi Chris, After years of hearing virtually no Alaskans, they became rather more common at the bottom of the solar cycle in 2007-2009.I've logged 18, pretty much all in that time period. Since then they've reverted to being pretty uncommon. I think KINY is the only one I've heard this

Pat is correct. I did hear Yellowknife on 1340 many times. Unfortunately it moved to FM in March of this year. I have never logged CHAK-860. Alaskans haven't been as common this winter as other years, tho a few have made it through with KINY the most common. Mike in St Isidore, AB _
