This Station has the potential to cover at least 2/3 to 3/4 of NA with the
exception of some small holes in their coverage area occupied by a small number
of night time peanut size stations in the far corners of the continent and
for people with unselective radios in cities with stations
CKMX 1060 Calgary has an excellent signal here this morning mixed
with KYW. First heard at 0350 CDT over KYW with CW music
and call letter ID. Are they using daytime power and pattern at
night?

These guys were commonly doing this last fall, but seemed to stop sometime in
November. They do have a great signal when running day rig. 73 KAZ

As usual during good SSS cx this was into IL on my westerly Phased BOG System a
bit prior to Calgary sunset with KYW Phased and after Radio Colorado went to
night power. However, they still are coming in which never happens when they
switch to night rig, and quite loud at times with Classic
My 50 kW local superpest, CKMX-1060 is off the air at the moment (22:35 MST)
for the first
time I can remember.
Have just logged KYW-1060 for the first time ever here, also PA is a new state
here!
