It looks like the powers that be STILL want to give the technology a
chance to work. I believe that they have not yet accepted the
possibility that it may not work at all.

Patrick, indeed. However, some of the well meaning engineers have been
hoodwinked as well. They sincerely believe that this is a speed bump and
they will eventually find a way to make IBOC work. For them, just about
the only way they will stopped is if the FCC tells them to do so.

The vast majority of engineers I know, think IBOC is garbage on AM. FM?
maybe...It is hard to believe that ANY knowledgable enginneer would not
see through the hype. We can, so why can't they? My guess is they have a
money wrapped up in it, ownership, stock...There has to be more to this
