Thank you very much for that superb note on the ITT Trans-Atlantic
operation I'll join you in mourning the passing of about 95% of
the SP-600s... gosh what a radio!

A great article. I also agree the SP 600 was quite the radio. I used one
for over 10 years and I loved it. Unfortunately I had to sell it, as I
could no longer could use it with the electric fence nearby. But those
crystal filters and the phasing were excellent. I do miss the radio at
times,

actually published the NRC bulletin for a while, giving Hal Wagner of Erie,
