Interesting, as OPB has a lp tx here allready (96.5?) Can't remember for
sure the frequency, but 89.7 has more power. We don't need a zillion rel
stations. This indeed will be welcome.

KWYA 89.7 Way-FM Astoria, OR was sold to Oregon Public Broadcasting last
week, so expect it to flip to a public radio format.. I wouldn't be
surprised to see it go more of a enws/talk route of OPB offers such a
network.

Yes, another dull (FSR) format. Well, I listen to KPOJ or KPTK generally
during the day now. I did enjoy having a local station I liked. It has
been a rariety most of my life living here. KSWB does play a nice format
of oldies though. We do have K-Love here on FM, as well as several other
rel. stat
Geez...what a novel idea for a radio format. Maybe you should tell them
about K-Love. There's probably a shortage of affiliates in some square mile
of Oregon.

Portland's KPOJ and Seattle's KPTK have stayed left wing talk, but I
have an idea smaller markets are the ones that will switch, like
