Just for everyone's reference, the original STA for the emergency longwire
antenna was granted way back in March 2006 after they lost their previous
site. In their most recent extension request Yavapai Broadcasting stated
that they were close to having their new facilities up and running,
co-locat
Yes they are now using a real antenna as they are strong again.

Apparently they are finally broadcasting from a "real" antenna again,
because they are in pretty well this morning, even on my Tecsun PL-380
barefoot indoors. Weird not to have KOGO and/or KCOL on top of 600 around

station has been using a long wire antenna and does not get out well at all
even in Flagstaff the signal is poor in some parts of town. When
I'll likely spend a night in Flagstaff on my way to the IRCA convention in ABQ.

KVNA-600 in Flagstaff is off the air. At the 2008 IRCA convention in Flagstaff
we had a tour of KVNA but they are now off the air.
