I have the old Port Erie Ont QSL'd on 530 from the 80s with 400w, back
before all of the TIS stations. There also was another at High Level AB
with 400w was I QSL'd. They were fairly regular in the
Fall/Winter/Spring.

apparently that has not stopped many stations from going off. Things
change. Ten years from now, who knows who may own CKYL and what the

the void as Canada has so much rural area that a 50 KWer is needed to
cover much of it. Maybe what is needed is a station on 540 in the cener

the AM 1070 transmitter will be turned off quite soon.
