Apart from some hot spots, upper mid band, there was only a fraction of the excitement today that there was yesterday -
Started listening at 1330 UTC today - noted the following stand-outs. 1341UTC 1458Khz with bright pop music and odd sounding YL in Asian lang 1348UTC 1422Khz with music quite alone on the channel - but only briefly. 1356UTC 1593Khz very lively with CC YL and orchestral music - up and down over entire session. Other regulars like Japan on 594, 747, 774, 828 were in and out constantly. Korea on 558, 603 made periodic but wispy appearances. 972 Korea was a shadow of what it was yesterday. Yesterday 1053 was a mix of jammer and jam-ee but nothing today. https://youtu.be/KFUlQ53Dz3U A very quiet 90 meter reception of Indonesia this AM -- the dial so quiet and free of the normal RFI "Frying" as to be alarming. It's a pleasure to get an occasional break and reflect on what the SW dial was like only 20 years ago. -- Colin Newell - Editor and creator *of *Coffeecrew.com <http://www.Coffeecrew.com> and DXer.ca <http://www.DXer.ca> - VA7WWV | Twitter @CoffeeCrew | Victoria - Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
