Bill,
This Montana DX test night should be a watershed for
east coast DXers. In the years I DXed from DC, the
only Montana logging I had was KOJM on 610. I recall
Montana being a tough state.

2320-2340 PST.Still, only thing being heard is KERR Polson on 750
who at 2325 was solid atop KXL with c&w music. Not a peep from 580-930
or 1290 which is odd since the last two ought to cut thru the qrm fairly

Only thing noted so far is KERR-750 in Polson. Noted with ID shortly
after 2315 PST & then into CW McCall's "Convoy"...Under KXL but still
easily audible. KOAL & KAMA nulled.
Nothing on 580, 930 or 1290 so far680 & 1310 are covered by my
locals.

Pete,
KBRW is on 680, not 580. KRSA Petersburg. Folk music is likely CKUA.

This could be a good night. Just tuned in to KIDO-580 and heard folk
music under it. I believe Salmon Arm is already gone so this could
have been KBRW or needed CKUA.
What a great opportunity. Thanks Les!
