Many low to mid band hets today. 693, 747, 774, 828, 1206 (China with
the distinctive off-frequency het) with audio around 1345 utc, all
Asian. 774 was at medium/loud level for about a minute, strong enough to
totally capture the channel and remove the adjacent qrm, EE talk about
Human Genome P
Unusually good today for stations with audio; low band with many good
hets, not so much for upper band. But signals were highly variable, up
for a few seconds, then gone, then back again a little later.
639 presumed China, unusually good at poor/weak level for 30 seconds
1523 utc.
648 presumed
1566 presumed-HLAZ with occasional appearances for several seconds,
reaching poor/weak level, 1355-1416 utc.

A little better this morning for MW TPs. Lots of hets over the entire
band 531-1701. 738 best channel with poor audio on peaks, presumed
Tahiti, female talk 1158-1214 utc--no music program today. Very poor DU
audio 702 at 1206 utc. Traces of (DU) audio on 1701.

Generally poor for everything today, quite a contrast to Dennis' reception.
LWBC poor for all freqs. At the end, MW DU poor though lots of low-band
hets. 891 DU only briefly rose to decent level, same for 1116 DU. But 1548
with weak DU audio at time. Heavy domestic 1550 splatter is always a prob
Unusually good for Far East Russia LWBC when I woke up this morning, with
153, 180, 189, 234, 279 all at decent level at 1143 utc. 738 had a poor
station about the same time, possibly the usual Tahiti but not good enough
to tell the language.

Low static this morning helped with LF signals though Far East Russian LWBC
wasn't very good today with 153, 180, 189, 279 at poor/weak levels, 1227
utc. 774 with poor talk and 1116 with poor talk, 1240 utc.
