Closest local here in Grand Rapids is KOZY (1320); their tx is about 7½ miles from me. Not much of a problem at night (I've been able to null them to hear KELO and WILS in the past). Next closest is WNMT (650) Nashwauk, about 30 miles. Worst problems now are digital hash leaking from the DSL

Mark, I have lots of satellite gear, 6 different satellite receivers and 4 dishes in the backyard and if you get within 6 feet of the receivers, they do generate digital hash, but move away, there is no noise. No noise detected on the R8 from any of the satellite gear 20 feet away. The Charter
