Hi Dennis,
I was looking for the HAR's in the Puget Sound area and catching the
Longview one was by accident. I did find the mailing address, so I am
going to try for that QSL.
Thanks. It wasn't easy with CBXQ on the channel though. That 40 watter
gets out so well, even at 250 air miles.

Patrick,
Congratulations on your reception of the HAR station on 540 kHz in
Longview Washington. I'm 27 miles South of Longview as the crows flys,
and at 1:44 PDT there is just a level 3 carrier on 540 kHz. Good luck
on getting the call letters.

Deane,
Yes indeed, CFAC and CKMX are both powerhouses here. CKMX is a regular
24/7 most of the year here.

Thanks Paul. Lots of traffic on 960 and especially 50 KW Calgary. Baker
being on the East side of Montana is quite the distance too. But I will
have to sit on 960 a bit more often.

The Baker 960, KFLN should be easy to catch.. they don't ALWAYS power down..
look on their website, newellbroadcasting.com for a sports schedule that has
a game on after sunset.. they'll probably not be at night power then.
A friend worked there in the 90s, when they'd go to night power, they coul
Thanks Dennis. Yes KBLL was on my want list, as I still need a few
Montana stations. I never have caught Baker MT 960 either. I have a
report going out to KBLL and I am hoping for the QSL too.
Walking the 1500' is good exercise. I think I will leave it
terminated for the Summer anyway.

Thanks Mike. I was a bit surprised with the poor Eastern cx the past few
days, but they have picked up a bit. KSTP is my test. If they are coming
in strng, then Eastern cx are good. KSTP has been rather poor, but a bit
better last night.

Casino and then "The New Talk 12-40 KBLL-Helena". New. Strange, I cannot
find a record of ever logging this one. At least I don't have it QSL'd,
if I ever logged it. Another one that fell through the cracks? Anyway,
