Hi Mike,
Yes, I believe they have 1550 too. Infact the 1680, they use one of the
1550 towers. I am not sure what their situation is though, but they
operate both frequencies.
So 1470 may be returning. Maybe I can log them again. Give me another
strong AU conditions, and it might happen. I was
Patrick, You are number one. The honest thing to do. I take my hat off to
you. Does KGED own the 1550 ? Which frequency did they have to turn in for
the 1680 ? Did you see that two groups applied to replace the 1470 at Coalinga

LOL --- Wait --- You got a QSL report back --- in 50 days from KGED in Fresno.
I think you are one of -- if not the best DXer -- on the west coast. But how
do you send yourself a DX report and it takes 50 days to get a reply.

Greetings,
It is not often I get two W Call QSLs in one day and one is a new state
from Oregon QSL'd, number 46, West Virginia.
1170WWVA WV, Wheeling, rec paper QSL card in 2 years after four
follow ups. Also enclosed were two full color coverage maps. One for day
and the other for night.
Thanks Martin. QSLing today is no easy feat as you know. It has taken me
42 years to get here. 25 years ago, I may have had that extra 20 QSLs in
a month or so. Today? Maybe 6 months. A far cry from the past.

Good job on the new QSLs Patrick!
BTW someone has a large number of AM QSLs from the 1930s for sale on
e-Bay right now. I believe the seller is in FL. The listings on several
of them say they were discovered in an estate. They aren't listed as AM
QSLs. Most are listed by the station call letters.
Thanks Dennis. Back in the 80s, Aussies were all over the dial and I
cleaned up on many. I think before that I may have only had a half a
dozen.I have 111 from NZ and also 111 from Japan. Some of my favorite
areas to DX. Now it is Filipinos.

Pat,
Congratulations on the Australian & Canadian QSLs. 226 QSLs from Australia is
amazing. Your Australian count is close to my total MW station heard count
from this location. Exciting to watch the count climb to 3,000!
