Finally a signal was received from Asia!  A strong carrier signal (no audio) 
from Asia was monitored on 828 kHz (probably JOBB) at 1131 UTC.  Also, a strong 
carrier was heard on 702 from WSW until 1217 fade out (LSR 1201). 

Thanks to everyone who responded to my query about connecting the Wellbrook 
ALA1530LNP to a Skywave receiver.  I have experimented with the aerial and a 
modified Tecsun PL-310  and a PL-360 with some success.

Chuck's mention of the Radio Shack 12-655 reminded me that it was the first 
receiver I heard a TP (774-JOUB) with.  It had an easy to modify circuit.  I 
still have it.
