No TP or DU signals were heard here this morning. A signal traveling from
Japan or Korea would had to pass through the Auroral Oval on its way to my QTH.
Oddly, CHHA 1610 was still audible after sunrise.

What sounded like a fairly sedate band suddenly came to life during sunrise
enhancement around 1350, featuring some potent signals from the Japanese big
guns and 972-HLCA. Other Asians joined the party around the same time, although

Asian signals were fairly average here this morning with the exception of the
low band Japanese, who once again went on a vibrant romp, powered by a sunrise
enhancement boost around 1345.
At the 1310 start of the session the usual regulars were in and out with fair
audio,
I, uh (cough cough), forgot to switch the K9AY back to the northwest
lobe last night after hearing the KCKM test. As a result, the antenna
had a very big null towards Asia this morning. There were faint
carriers on 594 and 1566, but nothing else from that part of the world.
