Hello All,
Thanks to Colin for the initial report on the outstanding performance of his
new N/NW flag antenna (and I look forward to the full report). Asian signals
were seriously improved this morning, with the Japanese big guns especially
vibrant. 594-JOAK was the star performer here, alt

Hello All,
First of all, it was a great honor (honour) to join Guy Atkins in welcoming
fellow die-hard TP-chasing fanatic Nick Hall-Patch to Puyallup this afternoon.
Nick's visit (along with Chuck, Dave and Phil) went a long way in providing
psychological assurance to Guy

That ferrite loop is pure magic. Is it out performing the monster wire

Hello All,
The 5 Radio Rossii Longwave TP's were back with good strength, but 164
and 209 kHz both stayed at threshold audio again. On medium wave it was
a good morning here for Asiatic TP's in general, with 936-Anhui having
its first decent Chinese audio for the new season. 657-Pyongyang's

Heh, Gary, the neighbors already have to put up with a 30' wooden mast at the
back of the lot, and they haven't turned me in yet. In fact, one even
commented that with the various antennas and supports draped around it, that it
looked like the rigging of a sailboat. This is a good fantasy to enc

Hi Nick,
Well, the Chinese TP's aren't exactly booming in here, either-- their
strength sounds pretty anemic, compared to this time last year. And the
threshold audio on 756, 936 and 1377 kHz is ghostlike at best.
I did make a recording of Chinese audio on 738-BEL2 this morning, which was

Chinese are just not making an appearance here, bar the single morning showing
on 1206.

Hello All,
Yesterday's improved TP propagation didn't extend until today, but there
were a few isolated signals that were better than ever. 738-BEL2 in Penghu,
Taiwan had its first fair audio of the season, with Chinese pop music and
speech in and out around 1310. 756 and 936 kHz had weak
