On returning home after three weeks, I'd hoped for a whole fist full
of QSLs but only had one envelope from Dudley Scantlebury,
Technical Administrator of RBG, Rhema Broadcasting Group in
Auckland. It was a treasure trove. Mr. Scantlebury inclosed 3 QSL
cards Rhema 1251 in Auckland,
Congratulations John! That one envelope was equal to a whole fist full
in itself. Rumor has it that Sir Patrick is going to retire at 3,000 and
sell his prized Drake receiver on e-bay! Another rumor is that Las Vegas
is taking bets on who will be QSL #3,000.

Great going on your Radio Rhema QSLs. Glad to see Dudley is still
QSLing. Rhema/Southern Star have been good QSLers for years. They like
DXers and enjoy the reports.
In the 80s, the QSL count for TP/DU's really shot up. For a time of
several years, the dial was especially full of DUs

Thanks. I have a zillion repots still out and two new ones in the past
month. The two, I am pretty sure on getting QSLs on them, so I that will
get me to 2999. I should be over 3,000 in the next couple of months.
