1932. Prime Minister Joseph Lyons inaugurates the ABC. At the time, ABC controlled twelve stations-2FC and 2BL in Sydney, 3AR and 3LD in Melbourne, and 4QG in Brisbane, 2CO at Corowa, 4RK in Rockhampton and 5CK at crystal Rock. 1974. Moody Broadcasting Network is on the air with KMBI-AM & FM. 1987. New York radio station WFAN becomes the first 24-hour all sports radio station.
