Greetings To All,

An interesting evening , propagation wise , to say the least. The night began
as usual with TA's in and out along with the ongoing heavy static and noise
levels as experienced during the past number of days.

The exception to this was between 1:30 and 3:00 UT/14 when a major TA
propagation effect began to take over. During this time on the split
frequencies, signals from abroad were wall to wall with many stations from
Africa, Europe and Asia at local sounding readability levels. Some of the
different TA's were so strong they were over top of usual resident DX stations,
home to that particular frequency heard here nightly

In the hour and a half of this exceptional propagation from the rest of the
world , minimal domestic DX stations from other parts of North America were
rarely heard with propagation conditions so strong from a more easterly
direction. Definitely an evening to remember .

1 new station was logged by myself and 2 new stations and 1 new country for
Dianne’s logbook

The SRF-M37V and SRF-39FP was used with the lead in copper wire from an outside
dipole antenna wrapped around the small radios and near the small ferrite rod
in the ultralights . TA’s signals were so strong they even overrode the noise
and static levels at times
