Some strong signals on the lower band at 2200 est tonight, and I haven't
checked all the way to the top yet.
Audio on 549, 558, 576 (RNE5), 585, 594, 603, 621, 639, 657 (not RNE5,
probably Italy), 684, 693, 756, 765, 774, 783, 837, 855, 882, 909.
1575 had threshold audio for a while, now a weak carrier, nothing on 1503,
1539, 1584 or 1593.

Hi All:
Many TAs in here tonight. First noted over an hour before local sunset. Most TA
split frequencies across the band had at least a carrier, many had audio, tho
mostly faint. A couple of surprises heard, english pop music on 945 which
paralled 1377 was Toulouse, France and the UK's Talkspo

Plenty of TA carriers heard here across the band. Some had audio, tho many were
too faint to ID. A few were a little stronger so I was able to ID them. The UK
on 1053 and 1215, France on 1557 and 1377, Croatia 1134, Egypt on 819 and 774.

No, actually it's interesting as they're running a program about the
influence of the Scots on liquor throughout the world. According to the
web site they should be running BBC Five Live, but they're not. Of
course the signal faded at the hour, but the web stream IDed as BBC
Radio Scotland.
Walt, glad you got BBC Scotland too! I am trying to pull audio out of
Radio Maria 675 Holland, but that horrible high pitched voiced talk guy
that is yelling on KBOI cuts really into the signal. I thought rock
splash was bad!

They popped up again with a weather report, and then a review of
today's papers.. Now I've found the right schedule (I was looking at
the FM), tonight's program matches what I was hearing. And yes, they
do indeed have pop/rock some nights.

I had to go out for a bit, so left the SDR running in my absence. Doing a
bandscan between 02:57 and 03:15 showed many carriers, especially on the upper
band as well as weak audio on 1134 (Croatia), 1215 (Virgin), 1269...which has
snippets of audio (?DLF) as I type this at 03:21. 1008, 1089 an
Pop mx coming in on 1215 at 0408UT, not strong, but fairly clear
through splashwill have to check a few other channels

unusual freq of 891 khz. Decent carriers on

Another one of those TA mini-enhancements last night that seem to happen when
the solar indices kick up. This was between 0400 and 0530 UTC - many of the
usual suspects in Spain/France/UK/Holland had some audio, plus Italy sneaked
in on 567. What was more interesting was getting audio on less

lower level audio. Oddly, one of the strongest signals is the Koran on
1161, which I'm guessing is Iran, and not one I've ever logged before.

pretty good audio, with presumed Slovak Radio. 1053 as well (03:07) sounds
like TalkSport with English and some music too. 1089 likely the same. 963 and

I also managed to bag the Navtex transmission from Greenland at 0340. I
almost overlooked it because it uses the letter "W" as its identifier,
which also happens to be the letter used by the USCG Navtex in Astoria,
OR. But the content of the message made it abundantly clear it was from
Greenl
774-Spain coming in pretty well at 0415 UTC. Man and woman in SS.
819 carrier is there, also 801, music on 765, woman talking on 693. This is
one of the better TA evenings here in CO.

For those of you doing TAs and TPs with the better equipment I'm wondering if
anyone can try for The Big L on 1395 in Holland.They were fired up again on
11-01 -09 and I think the hardware puts out 100Kw.I don't have the means to

Neither 531 or 1386 doing well here at present, but do have Egypt on 864
and Spain on 855.

I first checked on Walt's first post, but heard only faint hets on 1134,
1215, 1377, but nil on 1575. I was also tied up for a while, so have
just returned, and now have 17 carriers on a quick scan. Mostly on the
upper portion of the band (interestingly just the opposite of recent TP
recepti
Well, lots of carriers, some on unusual frequencies.
Only reasonable audio has been 1215, seeing I missed the best of Farda-1575.
Other audios have been 1134, 1269, both weak and fleeting, as well
as 954 and 1017, but not strong enough to give any real clues as to
language. 1494 has had a goo
