Walt..I went back and replayed 1440 at 1305-1312 and didn't hear
anything that sounded JOWFish. There were a couple of signals under
KMED, but there was a lot of electrical noise that pretty much masked
all but the strongest audio. It's amazing the difference
This morning, I recorded 1405-1595 on the SDR-IQ from 1100-1330 UT, and
again spot-checked the files for TP DX
1566 HLAZ was up and down but often good, especially 1230-1315
1575 Thailand fair carrier with decent audio for a couple of minutes
around 1250
1413 and 1422 carriers visible around

Bruce, I heard JOWF at 13:09 this morning. I remember hearing it frequently

Last time I heard JOWF was in 1978... on 1440...
on a DX150B with a 300 foot Inverted L

only heard KMED and the Alberta station

Bruce,
I've heard JOWF at least three times in the past week or so from here
on Orcas... and also, Walt and I compare things each morning
you'd think that we would be very very similar, but often we are
not. I'd imagine that your inland location pretty much dampens the
JJ and CC signals
I woke up at 5:50 AM and made it out of bed.
Audio on 1566, unneeded South Korea.
594 JOAK Tokyo 1303 tentative with Japanese talk by a man, faded to noise by
1308. I'll need to look for this again.
I also heard weak audio on 774 after this.

Its great to see you heard some TPs. They were good here in Arizona this
morning at about the same time.

Martin,
When I was in Yorba Linda, CA last October, I could hear JOUB 774 on the R-30
cc using a Space Magnet antenna. Signal was weak, also heard HLAZ 1566.

Only a couple more mornings to have fun before heading home to Victoria.
Hope everyone is well and having as much fun as I am. My plan is to post as
many of the Alaskan IDs as possible, probably at www.dxer.ca website.
Thanks, Colin! Walt Salmaniw, Masset, BC.
Thanks Walt!
Hi, fellas. From a wet and wild Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands). Storm
force south-easterlies today, so there's horizontal rain tonight. I'm at a
cousin of Wanda's (my spouse) and just enjoyed a very nice deer roast. Yummm!
I checked my list of Alaskans still to hear. Some are
