Tennessee, WLS represented everything cool in the world. Bright lights,
big city, and rock and roll music. And the conductor of this wonderful
circus was Larry Lujak.
Man, wasn't Top 40 radio great? He was missed on the air,
Chicago lost a radio legend yesterday with the passing of
Radio Hall of Famer, Superjock Larry Lujak. His is
noted for his famous Animal Stories. From the late
1960's through the 1980's he worked at both WLS 890 and
WCFL 1000 and more recently a couple of other stations in
