I agree with Saul that Wayne's 1270 unid sounds like WKBF. The
"L" is probably an "F". WKBF is a regular here
about 125 miles to the west but never strong and buried by several
others.

On the way to work this morning, I had a station on 1270 at 0815 EST with a
partial ID that sounded like "WS_S in...North Carolina". No one in North
Carolina has a call close to that. Any ideas? I think they were playing
classic country music, although there was a Christian station in the mix as
