John:
The mention of 102.9 is why I think you're hearing a second station on
910Khz as the nearest102.9 in Maine is WBLM and theyre a rock station.

I'm wondering about the mention of the station on 102.9 FM. WVOM is on 103.9,
so if I did hear WABI, there might be a second station in that hash that
simulcasts on 102.9, hmmm? That mention of 102.9 is what's throwing me.

At almost exactly31 seconds in, I hear "George Hale and Ric Tyler...place to
talk"
Here you go:

So, you DID hear WABI 910.
I hear a second station in there, the part where you hear the meteorologist
doing the forecast is another station..
Rats. After a careful re-listening of the tape I made of my mystery station
on 910 this morning, I have to conclude it was NOT WABI. It was IDing as
something like "W-O-?" I still can't make out the full call, but chances
are, it was not WABI carrying WVOM programming. It sounds darn close to

Look in the blue bar near the top of the page:

Also they call themselves "The Voice Of Maine, health and Wealth Radio
Network"
Since WVOM serves the Bangor market and so does WABI, maybe AM 910 runs the
2nd tier health/money programs and WVOM runs the mainst
Following up on my WABI question from earlier today. I listened to the tape
again and I'm 95% sure I heard a "WVOM...The Voice of Maine" ID in the
jumble on 910. I'll check the tape later tonight but I'm pretty sure it's
them. So I guess WABI does run WVOM-103.9 programming?

Well, I'm certainly going to give it a listen if their signal is improved. I
only have one Maine station in my log- WSKW-1160 in Skowhegan. For some rather
obvious reasons, not too many Maine stations make it this far down the coast.

No I am not catching it. I have a super strong het with QSB, that is killing
any chance of hearing WABI. Just a strong het and no audio.
Last summer, I have received WABI channel 2. Does that count?

910 WABI Bangor ME noted with oldies and standards contrary to their web
site listing. Site shows Coast to Coast but isn't.. Nice 910 WABI ID noted
around 11:20pm EDT. Good signal, in and out with others and a 909 het.
