I stayed up for the first test from 0500-0530 UTC but heard nothing. I went
to bed and set the Perseus to record (via WinradHD) from 0600-0630 UTC and
caught the following action:
Distinct sweep tones were heard here at 0605 UTC, 0608 UTC, and possibly
0617 UTC. Then at 0628 UTC another sweep to
Heard starting at 0100, VERY weak. All I could hear was the CW IDs which
sounded like it was sent on phone key board, sweep tones and Christmas music
from the last DX test.
No voice IDs heard.
Very ruff copy with lots of QRM.

Heard rapid sweep, Code group, followed by rapid pulse at 01:03,
01:09, 01:12, 01:13 and 01:16. Possible tone at 01:13?? No
chance for anything else, 1250 sounds like a graveyard channel.
Thanks to all who helped get this on the air, a new one for
me.

Subject: [IRCA] WYTH DX-test, Finland
Hi all
I seriously doubt that the test will be received at 0500 UTC in Finland, the
sun has already risen. In other words 0400 UTC would be more appropriate.
