apparently all day.

Glenn.,
Copied the call letters from my log book from a 2005 reception. Your right,
their now XEPE. Did not hear all letters, just mentions of San Diego and
weather. Heard "Dennis Miller Show" and found that XEPE carriers his program.
Dennis Miller Web-site has the program time listed fr
They're XEPE. They ID more often now than they used to when they were
XEKTT.

Dennis,
What is the basis for calling this XEKTT? Didn`t they change to XEPE quite a
while ago? Or have they changed back? What call do they announce now? Not that
that would be conclusive either with that group`s track record. Perhaps Tim

Mike,
I remembered that Falkland was on 530, I checked the 1975 WRTH and it was
listed on 536
with 5 kw. Checked the 2004 WRTH and they have them listed on 530 with 15 kw.
The 2007 WRTH does not list them under the MW South American frequency section.
They are listed in
the National Radio
Nice catch! But if anyone believes these guys are 10kW, I have a nice
bridge to sell you :)

San Diego's 1700 XEKTT in with "Dennis Miller Show" at 1:48 PM PST. Never
heard daytime DX this good before. Wow, that's over 932 miles to San Diego and
the transmitter is in Tijuana, Mexico. To bad the station in the Falkland
Islands is not on the 536 kHz, might have heard it tonight? h
