Thanks Bill. Interesting that there are no signs of life of Asia on the upper MW band; given what the Topband folks are working, one might expect at least a whimper. In PEI in late October 2012 we heard several Asians using an amplified corner fed loop, but they were spread across the band,

Not to complain, but my impression, from reading the Topband mail list, is that many of these guys are using pretty decent antennas for receiving AND are talking CW. That’s more antenna than I have on my tiny urban lot and working CW is about like me ‘seeing’ a carrier. Wonder what they’d

Several contributors to the Topband (160 meter amateur) list are reporting contacts with Japan from the eastern USAis it time for MW DXers to get in on the act as well? The 1230UT program beamed from HLAZ-1566 to Japan and beyond is just after eastern seaboard local sunrise right now...
