I remember hearing stations from Brazil, Colombia and Peru here in Oklahoma in the 1970's. Of course DX-ing was far easier then, especially with stations closing down at night. It's been nearly 40 years since I last heard a South American on medium wave. Richard Allen, near Perry OK USA.
