"That particular error message comes from Visual Studio, not IronPython. It's
triggered by an error in IronPython, but it doesn't show what the error is.
Since you mention subprocess it's almost certainly an interop error of some
sort.
Which versions of Windows, the .NET Framework, and Visual Studio do you have
installed? Can you provide the script that triggers the issue, or a minimal
reproduction that also causes it?"
