This is just my suggestion.
Netbeans 6.5 shall support (1)Ruby (2) JRuby (3) Python and (4) Php.
These are all open source projects(languages) and so is IronRuby.
I understand Sun and Microsoft are rivals, but IronRuby is an open
source project and i dont see any comeptition in this cas

We have C# to Vb.Net and Vb.Net to C# converter at the moment.
This make our life as a programmer more easy.
Just wondering, if any one is working or thinking to implement a
Converter that deals with C# to IronRuby and vice versa

I would suggest you to go for MySql only. It would help you with
platform changing advantage if required in future, without suffering
from Database problems
