Assalaamualaikum! Sister I dont write much. However I do my best to be informative and contribute towards revival of this great Ummah. Below is one of my articles:
Must I learn Arabic dialect or Fusha? The Arabs of 7th century were so proud of their language that they considered all other nations as dumb. They believe they were the most expressive people on earth despite having great empires like the Roman and the Persians surrounding them. When the Quran was revealed, they were stunned and they could not meet its challenge asking them to better or match its linguistic beauty, despite them being the champions and masters of the language. They reached such a peak with this language that their competing poets used to meet annually, at the Arabian market town of Ukaz, to compete and debate openly in poetical language. At this Juncture of Arabs history, the Quran was revealed and radically transformed their bedouin lifestyle and brought them out of the desert onto the world stage, serving as guiding beacon for humanity. Thus the Quran silenced those 7th Arabic Ukaz/Quraish champions and also serve as the means to fix the Arabic language by keeping the fusha alive till the end of time. Today, due to this living miracle, I ,as a non-arab can speak classical/fusha Arabic with a European, Chinese or anyone who learnt it like me, as it was spoken in the 7th century. Why go for a dialect (something defective) when the perfect Fusha will make you shine wherever you go? Salam2u Br. M.Mauthoor Quoting [EMAIL PROTECTED]: > My name is Aisha El-Awady.
