Thank you for your email regarding the research job availabe at the 
International Amnesty. Iam very interested to join the team of reaserchers on 
Palestine. I was educated in the Middle East fro elementary to university. I 
earned the degree in Arabic Langauge from  the Al-Azhar University in Cairo 
Egypt, special Course in translation fromn the American University in Cairo 
non-credit program, speciall studies on conflict resoslution from the Peace 
summer Institute, Mennonite Univeristy virginia, USA, Fellow on Conlict 
Resolution , PRDU,  University of York, York City, UK, MA in Education and 
earned 12 units, PhD. Mindanao State University, Marawi City, Philippines,
 
I was former Dean of the Institute of Islamic Studies, Philippine Islamic 
University, Marawi city for 12 years and presently the President of the 
Philippine Muslim Welfare Society.
 
I was one time invited by the Amnesty International as a resource person in one 
of their interantional furom and attended several international  conference as 
particiapants an/or resource person.
 
I have written many articles on peace and conlict. and authored a book  on 
Mindanao conflict.
 
My interest to join the team of researcher on Palestine is to widen and deepen 
my knowledge of the Palestinian issues and to serve the interest of peace not 
only for the Middle East but for the entire humanity,

Territories and the Palestinian Authority (12 month fixed term contract)

Amnesty International needs a temporary (one-year) researcher at its 
International Secretariat to lead its research and campaigning work on Israel, 
the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the Palestinian Authority. Working as 
part of the East Mediterranean Team, you will monitor, investigate and analyse 
the human rights situation in these countries, in the context of political, 
social, economic and legal developments.
You will need proven research experience, specialist knowledge and preferably 
first-hand experience of the countries in your brief, an in-depth understanding 
of key human rights concerns and sound political judgement. You should also 
have experience of conducting research interviews, and producing reports and 
other written material to deadlines. You will need to show impartiality and an 
ability to think strategically. You should have experience in working as part 
of a team and the ability to liaise effectively with other organizations and to 
represent AI to governments and the media. You will need to be fluent in 
English and have a good working knowledge of spoken and written Arabic; 
knowledge of Hebrew is desirable.
