There will be a screening of "Shocking and Awful: A
grassroots Response to War in Iraq" at Manuals Tavern, 602
North Highland Avenue on Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 PM. The
four videos, to be shown Saturday night are:
DANCE OF DEATH: The American military in Iraq: lambs led
to slaughter or centurions for the Empire?
ERASING MEMORY: The cultural destructin of Iraq and the
oldest treasures of human civilization.
GLOBALIZATION AT GUNPOINT: The military occupation of Iraq
has enabled the U.S. to privatize and sell off Iraq's assets
to foreign investors.
THE WORLD SAYS NO TO WAR: Documents the massive protests of
millions throughout the world to the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
A $5.00 donation is requested to help subsidize seats on a
bus going to the SE regional demonstration in Fayetteville,
North Carolina on Saturday, March 19. Members of Iraq
Veterans Against the War, Military Families Speak Out, Gold
Star Families for Peace, Veterans for Peace, Vietnam
Veterans Against the War and thousands of other peace
activists from around the country will march near Ft. Bragg
to mark the 2nd anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Ft. Bragg is one of the largest military bases in the
country and home to the Army's 82nd Airborne Division.
The bus will leave for Fayetteville Saturday, March 19 at
5:00 AM from the Inman Park MARTA station parking lot and
arrive back in Atlanta around midnight.
If you would like to reserve a seat on the bus, please

per seat is $40 but anyone who wants to go will not be
turned away due to limited funds. Some scholarships and
