AS-SALAAM-ALAIKUM!
As was announced at the Ramadan Sessions in October, 2005, Muslim Journal will be selling shares in it as a company. The opportunity to purchase shares is first being offered to those who have supported the Muslim Journal over the years its vendors, its subscribers, its advertisers, etc.
We have established 1 million shares at $1 each; 51 percent of those shares are being held in trust; 49% are up for sell. Minimum purchase is $2,500 (or bundle of 2,500 shares); maximum purchase per entity or person is $10,000 (5 bundles of 2,500 or 10,000 shares).
Based upon the categories of persons noted above, sales will be made on first come first serve basis. Please do not hesitate to purchase into this historical institution, so that you may retain a voice and benefit from its operations. If there are shares still available after January 30, 2006, then entities outside of our association will be approached and offered an opportunity to purchase shares.
Let us truly shape our future as owners in an industry that molds and influences the opinions of others about us as Muslims.
