Border Wall 'Blown Up'

[PHOTO] About 4 miles of the Zionist built corrugated metal wall separating the
Gaza Strip from Egypt in the town of Rafah was blown up by Palestinian fighters
Wednesday allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to cross the border to
buy supplies made scarce by an Israeli blockade of the impoverished territory.

The border wall in Rafah is almost identical to those that separate various
cities and towns along the US/Mexico border. The height of the wall ranges from
eight to nine feet. It was built by Zionist Israel with US money starting in
2001.

Soon after the border wall was blown up, tens of thousands of Palestinians
began crossing into Egypt and returning with milk, food, medicines and plastic
bottles of fuel. The Palestinians went on foot, in cars or riding donkey carts.

The identity of the freedom fighters who breached the border wall was not
immediately clear, but
in a statement, Hamas expressed support for the move, saying
  ,
"Blowing up the border wall with Egypt is a reflection of the catastrophic
situation which the Palestinian people in Gaza are living through due to the
the brutal Zionist blockade
  ."
Egyptian border guards took no action. Egypt has largely kept its border with
Gaza closed since the Hamas takeover of the territory in June.
