While the whole world, even concerned Israelis, are up in arms and deeply
concerned about the devastating crisis that has more than a million
Palestinians without power, food and basic neccessities in life, Obama's
concern is for the treacherous Israeli government that is causing the untold
humanitarian crisis on the Palestinians. In the letter below he implores the UN
to not condemn Israel but to make sure they condemn Hamas for rocket assaults
against the Israelis who have been consistently bombing Palestinians and
launching missile attacks against civilians. To Obama, Hamas has no right to
defend themselves. Although there has been no casualties on the Israeli side
from the rocket attacks, there have been hundreds of casualties on the
Palestinian side as a results of the persistent Israeli attacks.

What most fail to realize is that blaming Hamas for rocket attacks is just an
excuse for what the Israelis were doing all along and will continue to do. With
or without rocket attacks the Israeli has done and will continue to do the same
thing. As one insightful thinker said regarding the claims of rocket attacks
from the Palestinians:

"Either the Palestinians; in 60 years of conflict; have not yet learned to
aim properly, or those rockets are being fired by the IDF to where nobody will
be harmed"

False flag operations are an Israeli specialty and one they have been caught
doing untold number of times.

The letter from the Senator to the Ambassador speaks for itself:

Dear Ambassador Khalilzad,

I understand that today the UN Security Council met regarding the situation in
Gaza, and that a resolution or statement could be forthcoming from the Council
in short order.

I urge you to ensure that the Security Council issue no statement and pass no
resolution on this matter that does not fully condenm the rocket assault Hamas
has been conducting on civilians in southern Israel...

All of us are concerned about the impact of closed border crossings on
Palestinian families. However, we have to understand why Israel is forced to do
this... Israel has the right to respond while seeking to minimize any impact on
civilians.

The Security Council should clearly and unequivocally condemn the rocket
attacks... If it cannot bring itself to make these common sense points, I urge
you to ensure that it does not speak at all.

Sincerely,

Barack Obama
United States Senator
