Women to climb Mount Snowdon on 18th August 2007,
for Islamic Relief's Action4Africa Appeal
Due to the monumental success of last year's event, Saturday 18th
August 2007 will see another Islamic Relief organised 'All Female' expedition
to the top of Mount Snowdon, in Wales.
Why Africa?
One child dies
every 5 seconds
from hunger 12 million children who have lost their parents to AIDS
are facing an uncertain future Across Africa, at least 35 million people,
including 17-21 million children, are facing serious food shortages
The people of Africa desperately need our help now. This is an
opportunity for women therefore to not only raise sponsorship money for the
people of Africa; but to meet new people, as well as to do something completely
different
