Hi,
Okay, so I am reading this (
https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/edge/plugin_ref_spec.md.html#Plugin%20Specification)
again today (still very incomplete -- does not define all options or what
type="GradleReference" means, etc.), I am still struggling to understand if
there is an actual way to link java files from within the plugin, as opposed
having to export them into a custom library within "platforms/android/". Is
that method gone now for gradle?
For reference, here is what I am doing:

src="android-sdk/extras/google/play_apk_expansion/downloader_library"
custom="true"/>
<framework src="android-sdk/extras/google/play_licensing/library"
